iProng magazine, a really awesome magazine targeted the iPod and iPhone type of users did an article about me and a few other podsafe artists.
Here is an extract from the interview:
For someone who isn’t familiar with your music, how would you describe it to them?
I would call my music basically witty, catchy, upbeat power pop that draws from such influences as The Beatles, Split Enz, Crowded House, and Ben Folds.
How did you first get involved in the podcasting community?
When I started listening to Adam Curry’s Daily Source Code, I found that Adam liked feedback from his audience. So I decided my style of listener feedback would be to write a little jingle about his bio-diesel fueled car that he named, Trinity.
To my surprise he played it the day after I posted it.
From then on, I found more “open doors” to compose more jingles and segment music for the Daily Source Code. It became amazing fun to listen to the show, and then run into the studio and create a little ditty that was either a response to something that happened on the show or just a theme song for one of the many “guest callers” he had on his show.
